Our client, a well-established Australian carpet manufacturer since 1978, is seeking an Account Manager to join their high-performing sales team. This role involves managing and growing relationships with retail flooring clients across metropolitan and regional Victoria, with regular travel to Tasmania. Key responsibilities include maintaining call cycles, building client relationships, delivering product training, analyzing sales data, and driving incremental business growth.

Must Have

  • Maintaining a structured and effective call cycle across all accounts
  • Building strong, influential relationships with new and existing clients
  • Delivering engaging product and manufacturing training to retail partners
  • Analysing sales data and identifying growth opportunities at the store level
  • Collaborating with the broader sales team to identify and action market trends
  • Executing the sales plan and driving incremental business growth across your territory
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • The ability to work autonomously and adapt to a changing environment
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly within VIC and TAS
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, territory sales or business development

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and grow relationships with retail flooring clients across metropolitan and regional Victoria, with regular travel to Tasmania.

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a structured and effective call cycle across all accounts
