Risk Management Analysts are tasked with individual account evaluations to determine acceptability within the firm’s risk appetite, identification of fraudulent activities, and continued compliance with industry standards and practices. Investigations may include examination of financial, credit, and publicly available information, as well as direct interaction with customers, sales/service, and senior management teams. Analyst are further responsible for approval, documentation, and execution of escalations, exceptions, and restricted tasks within their assigned limits. In addition, Analysts are expected to identify risk-related trends within the application and performance populations; as well as assignment of local or participation in firmwide special projects as needed.
We are looking for a Risk Analyst who will:
- Analyze transactional, financial, and behavioral data to assess risk exposure and detect anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and predictive models using tools like Python, R, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau.
- Apply machine learning techniques to enhance fraud detection, risk scoring, and trend forecasting.
- Monitor and refine AI-driven transaction monitoring systems to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
- Conduct investigations into flagged activities, including customer interactions and document reviews.
- Collaborate with compliance, product, and engineering teams to implement risk controls and automation.
- Document and execute escalations, exceptions, and restricted tasks within assigned authority.
- Identify emerging risk trends and contribute to firmwide risk initiatives and special projects.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Risk Management, or related field is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in risk analysis, data analytics, or fraud detection.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
- Advanced MS Excel skills and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to analyze, process, and act on big data, preferably experience with AI/ML frameworks.
- Understanding of financial systems, compliance standards, and risk frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$24.62-$39.40
This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
