Road Specialist

SGS Ecuador, part of SGS Group, a global leader in inspection, verification, analysis, training, and certification, is seeking a Road Specialist. This role involves ensuring products, services, and processes meet high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. The specialist will contribute to generating trust by helping companies, governments, and consumers make informed decisions, promoting transparency and continuous improvement in various sectors across Ecuador. The position requires a Master's or Specialization degree in Road Design or Transport Management and experience as a Road Specialist in fiscalization projects over USD 1,000,000.

Must Have

• Master's degree in Road Design or Transport Management or equivalent
• Specialization degree in Road Design or Transport Management or equivalent
• Minimum experience as a Road Specialist or Technical Specialist in Roads in a fiscalization project of at least USD 1,000,000
• Experience in additional fiscalization projects as a Road Specialist with a supervision amount of at least USD 1,000,000

Requirements

Academic background:

• Master's degree in Road Design or Transport Management or its equivalent.
• Specialization degree in Road Design or Transport Management or its equivalent.

Work experience:

• The minimum experience required to qualify is having held the position of Road Specialist, Technical Specialist in Roads or its equivalent, in a fiscalization project of similar characteristics whose amount is greater than or equal to USD 1,000,000.00.
• For each additional Fiscalization project to the minimum, executed under any type of contract, in which they would have participated as a Road Specialist, Technical Specialist in Roads or its equivalent, with a supervision amount of at least USD 1,000,000.00.
