Job Summary

The Sales Administration Manager at Valeo's Sens site will be responsible for managing all customer product requests by overseeing sales and operations plans and master production schedules. This involves ensuring customer requirements are integrated into the system, resolving integration errors, identifying order variations, and monitoring the entire supply chain to meet service levels. The role also includes managing external logistics, applying correct parameters, and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer demands through internal coordination and negotiation.

  • Ensure correct parameters are applied to each reference.
  • Integrate P1 and P0 projects (new references, packaging, transfers, clients).
  • Ensure returnable packaging loops are respected.
  • Prepare required customs documentation for export.
  • Communicate regularly with customer contacts.
  • Ensure customer demands are met from complete requests.
  • Ensure feasibility of customer programs internally.
  • Negotiate planned delivery dates with customers if needed.
  • Ensure internal planning is launched, considering priorities.

Job Description

Your challenges?

  • Recognize and manage all product requests from customers by piloting sales and operations plans and main production schedules:
  • Upon receipt of customer schedules (via EDI, webEDI or paper), ensure that customer requirements are integrated into the system and integration errors are processed and resolved. Loading of closed orders into the system.
  • Identify and highlight significant order variations between customer's planned schedules and confirmed schedules, ensuring data has been accurately provided by the customer.
  • If necessary, publish customer delivery preparation lists.
  • Monitor the entire supply chain (procurement, production and shipping) and follow up if necessary, ensuring targeted customer service levels are met. Monitor safety stock levels and alert when min/max levels are reached.
  • Manage cooperation and logistics issues with external logistics platforms.
  • Ensure that the correct parameters are applied to each reference (MOQ, lead time, transport planning), and if necessary, initiate corrective action plans.
  • Know/integrate into P1 and P0 projects (new references, new packaging, transfers, new customers, etc.).
  • Ensure that returnable packaging loops are respected, to avoid any packaging shortage.
  • Prepare required customs documentation for export if applicable.
  • Regularly communicate complete, accurate and reliable information to customer contacts. Adapt the chosen communication method to the customer contact level. Adapt frequency to the situation (preventive, curative, crisis).
  • Meet regularly with customer contacts (once a year for key customers).
  • Ensure that from the complete customer request (date and quantity), this request will be satisfied:
  • Ensure the feasibility of customer programs internally (MPS manager (weekly), Purchasing and Planner (daily)) and if necessary negotiate planned delivery dates upstream with the customer.
  • Ensure that internal planning has been launched, taking into account priorities.
