VIE Project Management Office

Valeo is seeking a VIE Project Management Office for its Tokyo site. This role involves deploying and maintaining project schedules, training teams on scheduling methods, ensuring proper resource allocation, and identifying/solving scheduling issues. The successful candidate will support project leaders, validate planning inputs, and propose timing scenarios to secure milestones, contributing to the technological revolution of autonomous and connected vehicles.

Must Have

• Deploy scheduling activities across all project functions and adapt the role to the project perimeter.
• Support teams by performing scheduling tasks while training them.
• Set up and maintain project schedules and handle planning communication when needed.
• Train project leaders on standard scheduling methods and ensure consistent application.
• Ensure schedules are properly resourced and aligned between high-level and detailed plans.
• Identify and solve scheduling issues and support regular schedule reviews.
• Validate planning inputs and propose timing scenarios to secure milestones.
• Escalate critical gaps when necessary and coordinate with resource management.
• Promote and apply company values, ethics, safety rules, and internal standards.
• Hold a degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project scheduling, project coordination, or project management support.
• Fluent in English.

• Additional languages.
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

Let’s talk about you…

• You hold a degree in project management, engineering, or a related field
• You already have experience in project scheduling, project coordination, or project management support
• You are fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• You have strong communication skills, an international mindset, and are open to new cultures and ways of working
• You are humble, a good listener, positive, professional, and diplomatic
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus
