Job Summary
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all purchasing activities and processes. This includes identifying and selecting suitable suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items. The role involves managing inventory needs, coordinating with internal teams, and negotiating contracts. The manager will also supervise the Receiving Clerk and ensure all purchases align with the property's budget and business requirements.
Must Have
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar position
- Lead and direct the work of the Receiving Clerk including hiring, training and supervising
- Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies as well as manage inventory needs
- Coordinate and partner with internal teams regarding their supply and equipment needs
- Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
- Report and review menu matrix and F&B cogs with Executive Team
- Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Schedule and verifying purchase deliveries
Good to Have
- Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar position
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
- Proficiency in computers and information technology
- Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field preferred
