Must Have

This opportunity is open exclusively to undergraduate students from Wadham and St John’s Colleges at the University of Oxford. Applicants must be available from 6 July to 28 August, with applications due by Sunday, 18 January.
For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
As a Consumer Products & Ecommerce Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, build practical skills, and contribute to real projects at our creative and relaxed headquarters along the Oxford riverside.
Consumer products and Ecommerce are integral to Rebellion's strategy to build on our success as the UK's largest independent game developer and publisher. We aim to enhance the monetization of our intellectual property and content across various platforms, which include digital and physical products, promotional collaborations, retail, and brand partnerships, ultimately boosting the recognition of Rebellion's IP. The consumer products and Ecommerce team plays a crucial role in our growth trajectory as we collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to showcase our IP and content to global audiences through physical products, thereby fostering growth in our offerings.
What You'll Do:
- Research and evaluate potential licensing, retail, and brand partnership opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, proposals, and financial data to help identify strong commercial partners.
- Support day-to-day relationships with licensees across product development, marketing, and reporting.
- Assist in planning and delivering marketing, retail, promotional, and event initiatives.
- Contribute to creative materials, including presentations, press releases, newsletters, and campaign assets.
- Conduct competitor, pricing, and media research to inform strategy and outreach.
- Help manage assets, trend guides, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and analytical support, including tracking performance and preparing reports.
