Job Summary
As an Integration / Demonstration Technician within the Engineering Competence Center and IVVQ service, you will be responsible for mechanical and/or pyrotechnic integration. You will participate in study and development phases, integrating prototypes and demonstrators for weapon systems, ammunition, and associated test benches. This role involves collaborating with engineers to define systems, managing component tracking, preparing and executing integrations, ensuring traceability, writing operating procedures, and contributing to functional and environmental tests. You will also contribute to HSE and safety development, ensuring quality and safety standards.
Must Have
- Assume the role of mechanical and/or pyrotechnic integration technician.
- Participate in study and development phases, integrating prototypes and demonstrators for weapon systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to define systems and consider integration constraints.
- Track components, prepare and execute integrations, ensure traceability.
- Write operating procedures and contribute to functional and environmental tests.
- Participate in Hygiene, Safety, Environment, and security development.
- Analyze, prepare, control, integrate, write, and test while ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Practical experience in integration and control (Mechanics, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pyrotechnics).
- Ability to read definition plans.
- Experience in writing procedures and operating modes.
- Knowledge of sensitivity tests for pyrotechnic materials.

Your daily life
Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of terrestrial and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets, etc.), force protection systems, and zone control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site ensures research and development, production, testing, as well as all the "support" functions necessary for the design of high-performance systems essential to the success of operational missions. Thales has formed, with the German defense group DIEHL, a Joint-Venture "JUNGHANS T2M" which has 165 employees, allowing the two companies to combine their expertise in electronics and precision mechanics and thus become one of the world leaders in the field of ammunition fuses. This Joint-Venture is also present on the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.
Integrated within the Engineering Competence Center and the IVVQ service:
- You assume the role of mechanical and/or pyrotechnic integration technician within a team of approximately 10 people,
- You participate in the study and development phases by ensuring the integration of prototypes and demonstrators for weapon systems, ammunition, and associated test benches,
- You collaborate with study and development engineers to define systems and take into account integration constraints, monitor components, prepare and execute integrations, ensure traceability, write operating procedures, and contribute to functional and environmental tests,
- You also participate in the development of Hygiene, Safety, Environment, and security axes,
- You analyze, prepare, control, integrate, write, and test while guaranteeing safety and quality standards.

You have technical training and practical experience in integration and control in areas such as:
- Mechanics, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pyrotechnics,
- Reading definition plans,
- Writing procedures and operating modes,
- Knowledge of sensitivity tests for pyrotechnic materials.
