Job Description

Nine, Australia's largest locally owned media company, is seeking a Sales Executive for its Agency Publishing team in Melbourne. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth and crafting client-focused solutions across print and digital assets for Independent Agencies. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure seamless collaboration across internal divisions. This position requires a proactive approach to increasing market share and delivering exceptional customer experiences, contributing to Nine's evolving media landscape.
Must have:
  • Grow market share & revenue across your client base
  • Build client portfolio expertise to identify & develop new business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and influencers across client base
  • Link across divisions, functions, and locations to present a seamless face to the client and their media /creative agencies
  • Increase industry knowledge via media, data, and experience sources; attend relevant industry events where possible
  • Develop an extensive external industry network
  • Ensure client & category insights are shared with team
  • Deploy effective methodologies for deepening or broadening relationships with clients
  • Deliver open, honest communication
  • Ensure you comply with core Nine Publishing values
  • Determine appropriate Nine Publishing assets to be deployed to effectively meet customer goals
  • Identify suitable up-sell products to present to specific customers

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join the Agency Publishing team in Melbourne!

This is a critical role in the Nine Publishing business that is responsible for growing revenues, and creating superior client-focused solutions, across both print and digital assets for the Independent Agencies portfolio.

Day to day you will:

  • Grow market share & revenue across your client base
  • Build client portfolio expertise to identify & develop new business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and influencers across client base
  • Link across divisions, functions, and locations to present a seamless face to the client and their media /creative agencies
  • Increase industry knowledge via media, data, and experience sources; attend relevant industry events where possible

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven successful media sales experience or equivalent relevant experience
  • Agency sales or Agency experience
  • Proven success achieving revenue targets
  • Strong sales skills with a solution-based approach
  • Proven commitment to driving exceptional quality of work and customer experience
  • Proven history of working collaboratively with peers and management to drive collaborative solutions
  • Strong digital advertising knowledge
  • Interest and knowledge of media sales and demonstrate existing agency and client contact.
  • Demonstrable ability and credibility to marshal internal resources when necessary to deliver seamless strategic customer solutions
