Job Description

The Sales Manager is sought to boost profitable sales within current and new accounts, particularly within the Middle East and North Africa region. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing revenue, managing sales teams to grow accounts, building and maintaining customer relationships, developing and implementing sales strategies for the region, and creating training plans. Candidates must be self-starters with a proven ability to meet and exceed the accountabilities.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
  • Participate in overall sales strategy development for the region
  • Review account planning activities
  • Build a high performing and effective sales team
  • Mentor and coach sales team
  • Create, maintain and implement training and development plans
  • Responsible for budget development and execution
  • Responsible for reviewing and executing price approvals
  • Negotiate with corporate purchasing
Good to have:
  • Bachelor or Master in Chemistry
  • 10 years’ experience in the pulp & paper treatment industry

Role summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to grow profitable sales in existing and new accounts.

You are responsible for focusing on growing revenues at accounts within assigned region of Middle East and North Africa and managing frontline sales to grow accounts and the region while building/maintaining customer relationships.

Main responsibilities:

Sales Manager candidates must be self-starters with a proven ability to meet and exceed the accountabilities as listed below:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers to enable account penetration
  • Participate overall sales strategy development for the region and accountable for execution
  • Review account planning activities with  Frontline Sales and Service Manager
  • Build a high performing and effective sales team
  • Mentor and coach sales team
  • Create, maintain and implement training and development plans for the frontline sales associates
  • Responsible for budget development and execution for the assigned country
  • Responsible for reviewing and executing price approvals and contract approvals in alignment with product manager
  • Negotiate with corporate purchasing

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master in Chemistry
  • 10 years’ experience in the pulp & paper treatment industry or water technology industry and sales team management
