About the Work
Introduction to the Sales Support Division
In an environment where the number of merchants is rapidly increasing daily, service specifications are evolving, and new services are being developed, it is essential to constantly update service/operational procedures and sales manuals. In this highly dynamic environment, this position involves frequent negotiations with sales employees working on the front lines and internal related departments, and sales support covers a very wide range of tasks.
The Sales Support Division consists of 6 departments: Sales Management, Sales Promotion, Sales Support, Enterprise & Partner Support, Inside Sales, and Digital Sales, with an organizational structure of approximately 140 members, driving various support for the sales division responsible for PayPay's business growth.
The mission of each department includes "formulating and executing sales strategies and analyzing various data," "streamlining sales processes and developing training programs for sales members," "promoting/planning and operating new service introductions across the board," "supporting data-driven sales," and "streamlining sales processes and operational support." The division as a whole is mainly composed of members in their late 20s to 40s, with everyone acting as a project leader, allowing individuals to thrive regardless of age or work experience.
Background of Recruitment
PayPay's services for merchants and solutions for local governments are constantly being updated, and the sales members responsible for them are always required to demonstrate speed and growth. Furthermore, there is a need to strengthen the support system for increasingly complex and sophisticated sales from various angles. This recruitment is for an increase in personnel to strengthen this sales support system.
Specific Job Responsibilities:

Sales Support Department
Sales Support for Merchant Sales Division
This role involves supporting sales organizations responsible for merchant sales, including data analysis and streamlining sales processes. The Sales Support Department is composed of 3 teams (approximately 7 members each), with everyone acting as a project leader, allowing individuals to thrive regardless of age or work experience.
(1) Sales Support Team 1
- Promoting operational efficiency and automation using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), RPA, GAS, etc.
- Responding to various data extraction requests: extracting/summarizing numerical data related to activity progress and effectiveness from vast payment data.
- Analyzing, visualizing, and reporting sales progress.
- Creating sales meeting materials: preparing various meeting documents.
- Facilitating regular sales meetings.
(2) Human Resources Strategy Team
- Promoting operational efficiency and automation using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
- Planning and updating sales-oriented service introduction training content using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
- Planning and proposing sales-oriented measures.
- Designing sales incentives.
- Ordering and managing sales personnel.
- Planning and managing sales personnel costs.

Required Experience/Skills
(1) Sales Support Team 1
- Practical experience in data departments such as data extraction/analysis/automation (Excel advanced or higher, VBA, SQL, GAS, Google Sheets, etc.) *within the last 1 year.
- Experience in data analysis and operation using AI tools (practical experience in efficient extraction and reporting from vast data).
- Experience in creating analysis reports and documents (for various reports, management, internal planning, etc.).
- Logical thinking skills / Inter-departmental coordination.
- Experience in planning and proposing various projects (measures, business process improvement, legal adjustments) / Inter-departmental coordination.
- Information gathering ability (ability to collect and organize information widely from inside and outside the company).
(2) Human Resources Strategy Team
- Personnel capable of promoting AI initiatives and widely utilizing them.
- Experience in designing and planning measures using AI tools.
- Experience in creating analysis reports and documents (for various reports, management, internal planning, etc.).
- Logical thinking skills / Inter-departmental coordination.
- Experience in planning and proposing various projects (measures, business process improvement, legal adjustments) / Inter-departmental coordination.
- Information gathering ability (ability to collect and organize information widely from inside and outside the company).
Desirable Experience/Skills
(1) Sales Support Team 1
- Practical experience as a data scientist.
- Automation practical experience (RPA/GAS/VBA/Python, etc.).
(2) Human Resources Strategy Team
- Experience using Salesforce for business.
- Experience in data extraction/analysis/automation (Excel advanced or higher, VBA, SQL, GAS, Google Sheets, etc.) *within the last 1 year.
- Automation practical experience (RPA/GAS/VBA/Python, etc.).
(Common to all teams)
- Experience in planning and promoting as a project leader.
- Experience in client coordination and business negotiations (e.g., corporate sales, agency sales).
- Ability to communicate regardless of age or experience.
- Experience in efficient data extraction and problem analysis using ChatGPT or Notion AI.
- Experience in creating graphs, PPTs, and slides based on large amounts of data using AI tools.

- Hybrid Workstyle (office, home, or satellite office for remote work)

Working Hours
- Super Flex System (no core time)
- Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
Holidays
- Weekends, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days
Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)
- Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, prorated based on joining month, usable from joining date).
- Personal leave (5 days annually, 3 or 5 days in the first year depending on joining month) *PayPay's unique special paid leave system, which can be used for illness/injury/medical appointments for yourself, family, or pets.
Salary
- Annual salary system (including some fixed overtime pay)
- Determined according to company regulations based on experience, skills, performance, and contribution.
- Reviewed once a year.
- Special bonus (incentive) paid once a year based on company performance and individual contribution.
- Overtime work allowance, late-night work allowance available.
