Senior Agile Product Owner

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to work on cloud development solutions in Gothenburg.

As a Product Owner at Wolters Kluwer, you will be part of Software development and work in close collaboration with the developers and the scrum master with cloud portfolio development teams. Our department is growing, and we need to strengthen our team with a new PO. Our office is located in Gothenburg in a historical building in Amerikaskjulet by the waterfront. Our employees work according to a hybrid model and get to work 3 days from home. You will be co-located with other Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and UX. The Scandinavian development department has colleagues in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway plus several development teams located in India.

Our business is in Tax and Accounting, where our products help the Scandinavian market with their Tax and Closing of Book calculations. The solutions we provide are primarily built by our Scandinavian development department but since Wolters Kluwer is a global company, we reuse components from other countries when applicable. Most of our products are deployed in Azure, built on services provided by Microsoft.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage the product backlog.
• Prioritize and order the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
• Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the scrum team will work on next.
• Ensure the team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed.
• Validate and accept stories.
• Plan and prepare PI planning; review and reprioritize the backlog. Coordinate dependencies with other POs, collaborate with product management and UX.

Your Profile:

• At least 3 years' experience as a Product Owner within a software development team that is applying Agile principles, practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, continuous improvement and increasing transparency.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Beneficial if you have experience of working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Beneficial if you have experience working as a PO with an outsourced team.
