Job Summary
Autodesk is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. This role involves leveraging software engineering, Agile, and DevOps principles to build and maintain cloud-first foundations for business-critical systems. The engineer will engage with customers, design and build automation solutions, configure Azure environments, migrate on-premise workloads to the public cloud using Infrastructure-as-Code, troubleshoot Azure issues, and collaborate on development and problem-solving across the organization, while also developing and maintaining documentation.
Must Have
- Engage with customers to understand business requirements

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins
- Experience in Azure

Job Description
Position Overview
We’re growing our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. This team leverages software engineering, Agile and DevOps principles to build the foundations for the company’s business critical systems and processes, utilizing “cloud-first” platforms and services.
Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company and the leading edge of the latest industry technology trends. The team is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer who will have a critical role on how we design, build, and deliver reusable managed cloud stack.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand, define and meet their business requirements
- Design and build automation solutions to enable better customer experience and increase team efficiency working in a agile environment
- Configure and implement the public cloud environment such as Azure
- Architect, migrate and manage the workload running on-premise to the public cloud by leveraging cloud native solutions and best practices such as Infrastructure-as-Code and automation
- Troubleshooting and solutioning of issues in the Azure environment
- Collaborate on development and problem solving with teams across the organization
- Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams outlining solutions and architecture
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of experience in agile software development and automations using Python or NodeJS, Rest API
- Strong Scripting languages such as NodeJS, Python, Golang etc.
- Experience on Linux or Windows environment is plus
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and No-SQL databases
- Good knowledge on setting up cloud infrastructure using terraform
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins etc. is required
- Experience in Azure
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality and automation
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- While not required, AWS or Azure Certification is desirable

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
