The Senior Director, Corporate Communications position is a critical role responsible for developing and executing global communication strategies that shape and advance the company’s reputation, support its business objectives, and boost Blue Yonder’s brand in the market.

What You'll Do:
Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to communications and reputation management.
Media Relations
- Develop and implement integrated, global PR and communication strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business goals.
- Oversee media relations, including managing global PR agencies, leading proactive and reactive media outreach, cultivating relationships with key media, preparing press releases, and coordinating interviews.
- Strategize and execute to drive global media coverage across tier-one business and tech outlets, trade media across target industries and supply chain categories.
- Drive communications for M&A activities.
- Monitor emerging trends, public sentiment, and industry news to proactively address potential risks and opportunities.
- Track and analyze metrics to measure effectiveness and inform ongoing strategy.
Storytelling and Thought Leadership
- Think beyond traditional PR to craft a holistic approach to corporate storytelling and brand building.
- Craft compelling and creative corporate narratives, media pitches and responses in collaboration with SMEs to ensure Blue Yonder has a distinct PoV and presence in tier 1 business and trade media.
- Partner with leaders across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Associate Success to lead and manage communications for company milestones, events, product launches, customer milestones, and key partnerships.
- Strategize and lead timely consumer surveys to craft thought leadership around timely events and news.
- Shape executive messaging and thought leadership, including interview prep and bylines for SMEs and executives.
Crisis Communications
- Lead crisis communications and reputation management, ensuring effective and timely responses to protect and strengthen the company’s image.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the business to assess and manage reputational risk.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years experience in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prior experience with a fast-paced, high-growth, publicly traded company required.
- Proven success developing and executing high-impact communication strategies for large, complex technology companies.
- Equally comfortable with developing strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and an appetite for new ideas.
- Strong storyteller with excellent writing skills and the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong media relations expertise and established network of press contacts.
- Ability to influence and build consensus at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Demonstrated experience managing crisis communications and sensitive issues with discretion and poise.
- Proven ability to remain steady under pressure and navigate high-stakes moments with calm and sound judgement.
- Strong collaborator and adaptive team player with the ability to shift priorities based on business needs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willing and able to travel within the US and internationally.
