Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Maintenance

This role involves comprehensive manufacturing maintenance, including breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance of dies and utilities like HT/LT panels, UPS, and compressors. The Senior Engineer will analyze daily breakdowns, implement countermeasures, manage spare parts, and oversee new machine installations. Key responsibilities also include understanding electrical schematics, ensuring EHS compliance, and applying quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM within the wiring harness manufacturing process.

Must Have

• Knowledge of breakdown, preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Maintenance of dies (Applicators).
• Knowledge of utilities maintenance.
• Analyzing daily breakdowns and initiating countermeasures.
• Spares parts management for machinery uptime.
• New machine installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SPC.
• Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Knowledge on breakdown, Preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Maintenance of die’s (Applicators).
• Knowledge on utilities maintenance – HT/LT panels, Electrical distribution panels, UPS, air conditions, Compressor, Fire Hydrant, DG, Forklifts & pallet trolley Etc.
• Analyzing daily breakdown & initiating countermeasures.
• Co-ordination with team for maintenance activities.
• Able to understand electrical SLD & Knowledge on electrical load calculation.
• Spares parts management to improve the machineries up time & Optimum stock level.
• Circuit check programming for the wiring harness using customer Drawings
• New machine installation & commissioning
• Localization of imported spare parts
• Knowledge on MTTR & MTBF calculation
• Knowledge on EHS activities
• Knowledge on STP
• Knowledge of Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan.
• Knowledge on ECN Implementation.
• Preparation of reports (Daily, Monthly).
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SPC.
• Knowledge of quality basic tools.
• Knowledge of W/H Manufacturing process.

Education & Qualification

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Min 3 years’ experience in manufacturing Industry
