Gameloft is seeking a Senior Game Designer with expertise in Gameplay Systems to join their creative team in Barcelona. This role involves designing engaging gameplay mechanics, from prototyping and documentation to implementation and fine-tuning. You will be responsible for overall creative work, benchmarking, documentation, and task analysis, as well as following up on assigned features. Collaboration with art and development teams, coordinated by a producer, is also a key aspect of this position. Gameloft is a leading international developer and distributor of video games with a presence in 20 countries.

Must Have:

Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics
Prototype, document, and implement mechanics
Fine-tune game mechanics
Perform creative, benchmarking, and documentation tasks
Coordinate with art and development teams

Our Barcelona studio is looking for a Senior Game Designer with extensive experience in Gameplay Systems design:

Responsibilities:

•Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics, following briefings.
Taking care of all aspects of game design: prototyping these mechanics, documenting, implementing in game and fine-tuning them.

•Overall work in creative, benchmarking, documentation and analyzing tasks

•Follow-up, maintenance and continuous improvement of assigned features

•Team coordination: coordinating with art and development teams assigned to the project with the associated producer
