Job Summary
As a First Line Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Sales Executives, driving sales growth for Marketing Cloud products with transactions under $100k. Responsibilities include participating in client meetings, cross-functional collaboration, recruiting, hiring, and training new team members. You will report on sales activity, forecast to senior management, and execute Salesforce’s sales strategy within your region. This role involves leading a growing sales organization and managing at both strategic and operational levels.
Must Have

- Consultative selling experience.

Sales Leadership
Our sales leaders are responsible for one of the business segments shown below. Their teams sell across multiple verticals, or to one specific vertical, i.e. Financial Services, Healthcare Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, Public Sector. Their teams (varying from 6-12 team members) may sell the entire Salesforce platform, or specialize in selling a specific Cloud solution, i.e. Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Platform, CPQ, Quip, Analytics.
What you'll be doing as an ECS Sales Manager
As a First Line Sales Manager you will be managing and developing a team of Sales Executives and responsible for driving sales growth for the Marketing Cloud products in transactions under $100k. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders and corporate resources as required. You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new team members on sales process. In this role you will report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management. You will be responsible for setting and executing Salesforce’s sales strategy within your specific region or territory. You will assume leadership of a growing sales organization, including individual contributors to help drive growth in your region. In this role you will plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level.

Your Qualifications
- Depending on the segment, the years of experience and skillset needed to be successful will vary from 2-8+ yrs of sales leadership experience managing a team of seven or more quota carrying sales people.
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Experience in sales coaching and mentoring.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
