In this position, we are looking for candidates who can direct and drive planning and operational effectiveness to support the smooth running, performance and growth of the worldwide communications organization, to ensure the team can deliver their best work. This role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, and provides input to leaders that facilitate better decision-making and guides strategic action leading to improved ways of working and better results. This includes planning, budget management, people program development, processes, and ensuring excellent communication throughout the worldwide comms organization, and with internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with stakeholders and communication leaders, this role will identify and implement best practices across the product and corporate communications organization, as well as worldwide. Strong interpersonal skills are key to effectively mobilize cross-functional partners and collaborate with others to accomplish a common goal and improve results. We are seeking deep public relations and communications experience, first-rate executive communications and writing skills, natural problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to objectively evaluate information, make sound decisions and create a plan of action. In this role you will: - Direct and drive planning and operational effectiveness to support the smooth running, performance and growth of the worldwide communications organization. - Develop a worldwide operational strategy that simplifies working practices, increases efficiencies and increases the overall impact of the communications organization. - Research and understand best practices across communications, and implement most effective processes across planning, execution, measurement and reporting. - Using key performance indicators and analysis, provide clear guidance to leaders that aid decision making that lead to better outcomes. - Devise and implement communications strategies that help create the best environment for people to do their best work, with an emphasis on productivity, wellness, creativity, innovation and fun. - Alongside communications leaders, develop budget and vendor strategies to meet required goals. - Alongside communications leaders, drive the implementation and space needs of the various corporate communication sites and teams. - Manage the fiscal forecasting for the departmental needs and subsequent key budgetary line items. - Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring consistency and maximizing performance.
