The Sr. Revenue Accountant will be part of the Global Accounting & Reporting team, ensuring accurate accounting for all entities. This role requires experience in revenue accounting, exceptional technical skills, strategic and analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication. Responsibilities include preparing monthly journal entries, variance analysis, general ledger reconciliations, ensuring controllership integrity, meeting finance policies, driving process improvements, and supporting ad hoc reporting.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Highly organized and able to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivots, vlookups)
  • Ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately

Job Description

The Sr. Revenue Accountant will be part of the Global Accounting & Reporting team which helps ensure the accuracy of accounting for all entities. The ideal candidate would have experience with a variety of accounting functions but has some experience specifically in revenue accounting. This role requires the candidate to have exceptional technical skills and to be experienced in strategic and analytical thinking with a firm emphasis on attention to detail. You will need to have the ability to communicate your work clearly with various groups and staff/management of all levels.

Your Day

  • Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings, both P&L and balance sheet analysis
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
  • Ensure 100% controllership integrity
  • Ensure finance policies and guidelines are met satisfactorily during review/audit periods
  • Assist in driving finance/controllership change initiatives through process improvements to gain efficiencies as needed
  • Support Accounting Leaders with Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Highly organized individual who can work independently as well as with cross functional groups
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills required
  • Strong verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, primarily Excel including pivots, vlookups and similar functions
  • Able to manage high volumes of transactions timely and accurately
  • Public accounting/auditing experience a plus
  • Oracle Financials experience a plus

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
