LeadVenture is looking for a Sr. SEM Specialist to join our team!
The Sr. SEM Specialist is responsible for managing all paid search campaigns for individual clients on Google, Facebook, and Bing as well as other search and display marketing engines. They will effectively manage their client’s budget and work with the client and the other Marketing Teams in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers to the client’s site.
The Sr. SEM Specialist is expected to maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices, address client concerns in addition to managing their assigned client load, and complete their responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. They will also be a resource for, educate, and help train Jr. SEM Specialists, with a strong focus on handling at-risk clients, developing processes, conducting training, and performing administrative tasks. This role reports directly to the SEM Team Manager.

Review and analyze client and competitor ads for areas of improvement and ad spend adjustments
Conduct keyword analysis to identify opportunities for increased visibility
Manage campaign expenses, budgets, and reconcile discrepancies
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC performance
Execute tests, analyze data, and identify trends to achieve maximum ROI
Optimize copy and landing pages for paid campaigns
Perform ongoing keyword discovery and optimization
Research and analyze competitor advertising
Conduct advanced analytics using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Search Console
Write compelling calls-to-action to drive users to client sites
Prepare monthly campaign overview and strategy reports
Continually reinforce the value of services to dealerships
Stay current on SEM strategies and best practices
Coordinate and review tasks assigned to remote workers
What we’re looking for:
1 year of experience as an SEM Specialist I or equivalent
Degree preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
Creative and strategic thinking, with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Delegation and self-assessment skills
Strong analytical mindset and statistical interpretation ability
Proven success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Facebook, and Bing
Solid understanding of performance marketing and conversion strategies
Up to date with SEM trends and best practices
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
