Swivel is a funded startup automating repetitive and revenue-impacting tasks in advertising operations using AI and machine learning. The Senior Yield and Operations Analyst will evaluate and analyze yield data across partners and ad platforms, leveraging Swivel's products to manage programmatic yield, including trafficking, floor management, pricing strategies, and partner prioritization to maximize revenue and save customer work hours. The role requires innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to client success.
Must Have:

  • 2-3 years in yield management or advertising analytics.
  • Comfort with DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, exchanges, multiple digital ad platforms.
  • Experience with FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, Magnite, Publica.
  • Understanding of yield management across various integrations.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets experience.
  • Experience working with AI tools.
  • Ability to understand complex marketing and digital advertising data.
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent.

Role Summary

Swivel is currently hiring for a Senior Yield and Operations Analyst.

In this role, you will evaluate and analyze yield data regularly across all direct and indirect partners and various ad platforms. You will leverage our products to manage programmatic yield including trafficking, managing floors, pricing strategies, and partner prioritization in an effort to maximize overall programmatic revenue and save our customers countless hours of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with and take the time to deeply understand the business needs of our clients
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising technologies, including ad serving platforms, programmatic advertising, SSPs, DSPs, and data management platforms.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Ability to create pivot tables, use v-lookup formulas, if/then statements, devise charts and graphs that convey actionable insights.
  • Tactical experience using AI tools to increase efficiency
  • Understanding of CPM, CPC and CPA models
  • Must be highly organized with excellent follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate the big picture and drill down to supporting details.
  • A self-starter with high energy and a positive approach
  • Revenue-motivated and hard worker: Earnestly focused on the dollars and spends the lion's share of their attention on ways to improve revenue.
  • Understanding of the ConnectedTV ecosystem and tech stacks
  • The ideal candidate has a strong drive to uncover opportunities for revenue growth

qualifications

  • 4 years in digital advertising at a publisher or ad tech company
  • 2-3 years in a yield management or other advertising analytics role
  • High level of comfort working with DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, exchanges, etc. and operating across multiple digital advertising platforms. In particular, we are seeking candidates with experience with FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, Magnite, and Publica.
  • Understanding of yield management across varied integrations, including client-side and server-side header bidding, SDKs, tags, Open Bidding, RTB etc.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • Experience working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Deep Research, Perplexity, Cursor, Bolt, v0, Tidio AI, Hiver
  • Ability to understand complex marketing and digital advertising data
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent.
