Services Evangelist

Proofpoint is seeking an experienced Services Evangelist to develop successful programs for protecting people and defending data by optimizing Proofpoint's technology solutions globally. This role involves leading presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions, advising customers on integrating people, process, and technology to achieve cybersecurity objectives. The Evangelist will be a key contributor to market share growth and positioning holistic solutions for complex cybersecurity challenges.

Must Have

• Engage with current and prospective customers in person, by phone, and/or video conference.
• Conduct and lead services value conversations with internal teams, customers, and prospects.
• Build rapport, trust, and credibility with Proofpoint teammates and customers.
• Advise on planning and implementing major Cybersecurity initiatives.
• Be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security.
• 10+ years of experience in managed services sales or delivery, or as a former executive/practitioner in Email Threat Protection, Information Protection, or Cloud Security programs.
• Strong executive level presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong background in a wide range of Cybersecurity including current advanced threats, threat protection, data protection, cloud security, malware protection and/or incident response.
• Organized, detail and process oriented.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Enjoy working with people and helping them solve their problems.
• Comfort leading open, collaborative conversations.
• Track record of success presenting to / educating field sales, SEs, and customers.
• Rigorous organizational skills.

About the Role:

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Services Evangelist to focus on how to build successful programs to Protect People and Defend Data by optimizing world-class technology solutions globally. This role will lead presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions for organizations looking to operationalize technology solutions. You will use your deep knowledge and experience to advise customers on how they can combine people, process, and technology to achieve their Cybersecurity objectives. This individual will be a major contributor to our aggressive plans regarding market share and positioning holistic programs to solve complex problems in the Cybersecurity space.

Your day-to-day:

• As a critical member of the Services Evangelist team, engage with both current customers and prospective customers in person (occasionally), by phone, and/or video conference, at your discretion.
• Conduct and lead services value conversations with internal team members as well as customers and prospects.
• Build rapport, trust and credibility with teammates and customers, as they will rely on your expertise and advise how to plan and move forward with major Cybersecurity initiatives.
• You may be called upon to assist in presenting in webinars and customer-accuracy events.
• You will be able to provide valuable customer insight and real-world experiences to services leadership and will have influence in service design, go-to-market strategy, and pricing.
• You will be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security.
• You will have the chance to use your judgement, share your ideas and form lasting relationships and experiences that will help shape the next steps in your professional journey. What You Bring to The Team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 238,240.00 - 327,580.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 191,360.00 - 263,120.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 172,320.00 - 236,940.00 USD
