SODI, a Veolia Group subsidiary, is recruiting a Social Law Jurist (M/F) on a fixed-term contract for its head office. This role is crucial for ensuring strict compliance with Labor Law regarding temporary employment agencies. The position involves conducting comprehensive audits, developing corrective action plans, providing legal support, and training agencies nationwide on temporary and interim employment legislation. Frequent travel across 32 agencies in France is required.
Must Have
- Conduct comprehensive audits to identify non-compliance and legal risks related to temporary employment contracts.
- Develop and pilot an immediate and sustainable corrective action plan.
- Ensure strict compliance with legal and conventional provisions for temporary employment.
- Provide legal support and advice to operational teams on social law matters.
- Train agencies and teams on temporary employment legislation.
- Minimum Bac +4 legal education with a focus on Social Law / Labor Law.
- Confirmed experience in Labor Law, with specific expertise in temporary and interim work.
- Mastery of managing contractual relations with a multitude of temporary employment agencies.
- Autonomy, rigor, and strong results orientation.

- First experience in an industrial or multi-site environment managing a large volume of temporary contracts.

Job Description
The Challenge: Social Law Jurist (M/F)
For its head office, SODI Groupe VEOLIA is recruiting a Social Law Jurist (M/F) on a fixed-term contract to take on a major and urgent strategic challenge: to secure and guarantee strict compliance with Labor Law in our relations with temporary employment agencies.
This position is essential for the immediate legal security of our operations and the sustainability of our contractual relationships. You will be the pillar of this national audit and compliance plan.
This national position involves frequent travel to all of our 32 agencies in France.
Under the authority of the HR Director and in liaison with all our agencies, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive and in-depth audits within our agencies to identify areas of non-compliance and legal risks specifically related to interim and temporary employment contracts.
- Developing and piloting an immediate and sustainable corrective action plan to ensure strict compliance with legal and conventional provisions, particularly regarding the use of temporary employment.
- Intervening autonomously in the compliance and legal security of our relations with temporary employment agencies, directly impacting all our agencies.
- Supporting all our agencies in legal compliance on temporary and interim employment matters.
- Being a local legal relay in all our agencies in France.
- Answering various questions relating to hiring, discipline, working hours, mobility, contract terminations, etc.
- Answering various questions relating to hiring, working hours, inter-contract waiting periods, etc.
- Contributing to the updating of internal procedures and documents for temporary hiring.
- You support and advise operational staff on social law and disseminate relevant information.
- You train all our agencies and concerned teams on legislation relating to the labor law of temporary contracts.
Qualifications

You have a minimum Bac +4 legal education with a focus on Social Law / Labor Law and you have solid knowledge and confirmed experience in Labor Law, with precise expertise in temporary and interim work.
A first experience in an industrial or multi-site environment managing a large volume of temporary contracts is a major asset.
You master the management of contractual relations with a multitude of temporary employment agencies, including knowledge of national framework contract mechanisms.
To succeed in your missions, it is important to demonstrate autonomy, rigor and a strong results orientation.
