SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (Taoyuan)

Micron Technology is seeking Full-Stack Software Development Engineers in Taoyuan to configure, develop, maintain, and support Micron and third-party applications. The role involves building and analyzing software specifications, researching, designing, documenting, modifying, and supporting software throughout the development lifecycle. Engineers will work with a team focused on optimizing the Manufacturing line, specifically the Photolithography area, leveraging various technologies and collaborating globally. The position requires driving impactful change, engineering scalable solutions, troubleshooting system issues, and utilizing Generative AI tools for innovation.

Must Have

• Work closely with internal customers and IT teams to drive impactful change.
• Craft, engineer and implement scalable solutions for a worldwide enterprise.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system issues to identify and implement solutions.
• Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams for end-to-end testing.
• Develop restful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Skills in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies.
• Proficiency in English for communication with world-wide teams.

has several openings for Full-Stack Software Development Engineers. As a Software Development Engineer at Micron you will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third-party applications. You will build and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills vital to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a consistent track record to build quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that build business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

You will be working with a team of full-stack software engineers who are responsible for developing software that helps run and optimize the Manufacturing line. This team has a specific focus on enabling the Photolithography area within the Manufacturing environment. The team applies a wide variety of technologies and interacts with team members from around the globe.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Developing restful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#
• Object Oriented Programming preferably .NET
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies
• Git
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies
• Motivated to learn new skills independently
• Creative problem solver with good problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• GitHub Copilot or other Code Generation Utilities (ex. Claude Code, Cursor, Tabnine etc.)
• Proficiency in English for communication with world-wide teams
