Job Summary

Thales is seeking a Solution Architect, SOC Transformation to lead small and large-scale projects, enhance client security capabilities, and deliver high-quality outcomes. The role involves acting as a trusted security advisor, leading cloud, network, and security architecture projects to industry standards, identifying new service offerings, producing technical reports, mentoring consultants, and partnering with sales for solution development. This position requires a strong background in network and cyber security, security architecture, and cloud security.

Must Have

  • Act as a trusted security advisor, delivering multi-service engagements aligned to the Cyber 360 strategy.
  • Lead and deliver cloud, network and security architecture projects to industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, ASD E8).
  • Identify and develop new security service offerings and client opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality executive and technical reports with clear risks and remediation recommendations.
  • Mentor consultants, set KPIs, manage utilisation and support capability development across the team.
  • Partner with the sales team on pre-sales and solution development.
  • 10+ years’ experience across network and cyber security.
  • Strong background in security architecture, cloud security and consulting.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and ASD Essential Eight.

Good to Have

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Fortinet, Palo Alto
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 LA/LI or PCI QSA
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and advisory skills
  • Pre-sales experience
  • Degree in IT/Cyber

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Network Security Architect – Research, Architecture and Development is responsible for leading small and large scale projects, and proactively striving to improve the security capabilities within client organisations, delivering high quality outcomes, and ensuring consultants are performing to their maximum potential while continuously developing strong stakeholder relationships with client key stakeholders.

YOU’LL

  • Act as a trusted security advisor, delivering multi-service engagements aligned to the Cyber 360 strategy.
  • Lead and deliver cloud, network and security architecture projects to industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, ASD E8).
  • Identify and develop new security service offerings and client opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality executive and technical reports with clear risks and remediation recommendations.
  • Mentor consultants, set KPIs, manage utilisation and support capability development across the team.
  • Partner with the sales team on pre-sales and solution development.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 10+ years’ experience across network and cyber security.
  • Strong background in security architecture, cloud security and consulting.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Fortinet, Palo Alto ideal.
  • Professional certs such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 LA/LI or PCI QSA highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and ASD Essential Eight.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and advisory skills.
  • Pre-sales experience beneficial.
  • Degree in IT/Cyber preferred but not essential.
