Job Summary
TransUnion is seeking a Sr Analyst for the Highlands team. This role involves developing Python scripts for data connectors, gathering requirements for integration into TransUnion’s OneTru Platform, and ensuring automation between data sources and DB platforms. The analyst will also support back-end development for Power BI dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs, and participate in deployment activities. The position requires 3+ years of experience in Information Security or related fields, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, and proficiency in Python, data analytics, and Agile development. This is a hybrid role.
Must Have
- Develop Python scripts to build connectors to data sources for dashboards.
- Gather requirements and document use cases for integration into TransUnion’s OneTru Platform.
- Ensure automation between source data and DB platforms.
- Ensure access to API credentials and set-up.
- Maintain and update connectors as part of BAU activities.
- Participate in back-end development to support interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Establish lines of communication with identified stakeholders and collaborate to understand data needs.
- Participate in deployment activities, such as migrations to TransUnion’s OneTru Platform.
- 3+ years’ experience in Information Security or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with scripting language – Python.
- Experience with business requirements gathering best practices.
- Data analytics proficiency.
- Familiarity with AGILE development.
- Understanding of network architecture and networking fundamentals.

- Ensure access to API – credentials and set-up. Maintain and update connectors as part of BAU activities.
Being part of Highlands, all team members must participate in and support the following activities:
- Back-end development to support interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Attend and participate in team innovation labs sessions.
- Establish lines of communication with identified stakeholders and collaborate with them to understand data needs.
- Participate in deployment activities, such as migrations to TransUnion’s OneTru Platform.
This is a hybrid, position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Impact You'll Make:
- 3+ years’ experience in Information Security or related fields.
