A Senior Linux Engineer is sought to design, implement, administer, and support Linux server infrastructure at TransUnion. The role involves ensuring stability, availability, and operational continuity, resolving critical incidents, optimizing performance, and collaborating on automation projects. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, strong Linux (RHEL), scripting (Bash, Python), PostgreSQL, and Ansible skills, and be proficient in English.
Must Have
- Administer and maintain Linux server infrastructure, ensuring stability and availability.
- Design and implement solutions for high service levels and operational continuity.
- Execute platform changes, including resource allocation and configuration adjustments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents, minimizing operational impact.
- Collaborate on infrastructure improvement and automation projects.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience in Linux operating systems (RHEL).
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python).
- Experience and knowledge in PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge and experience in Axway Secure Transport Platform (STransfer).
- Knowledge in SAN storage.
- Knowledge and experience in automation with Ansible.
- English B1 level.
- Availability for after-hours critical support and 7x24 rotation.
Good to Have
- Experience in physical and virtualized environments (Nutanix).
- Experience in containers, Git/Bitbucket, and cloud services.
- Operating system certifications.

We are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer with solid experience in the design, implementation, administration, and support of server infrastructure based on Linux operating systems. The role requires advanced skills for critical incident resolution, platform performance optimization, and compliance with security and architecture standards.

Education: Systems Engineer, Electronic Engineer, or related careers.
Experience:
- 5+ years in infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience in Linux operating systems (RHEL).
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experience and knowledge in PostgreSQL
- Experience in physical and virtualized environments (Nutanix desirable)
Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience in Axway Secure Transport Platform (STransfer)

Availability:
- After-hours schedule for critical support and maintenance windows.
- 7x24 availability. Rotation once a month (one full week).
Modality: Hybrid (administrative office).
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
