Job Summary

As a SMAI (Smart Manufacturing AI) OI (Operations Intelligence) – Scheduling and Simulation, I4.0 Analyst, you will be part of Micron’s Smart Manufacturing Team. You will innovate End-To-End Digital Twin solutions through scheduling systems, simulation solutions, and data analytics to guide Fab critical decisions. Partner with global manufacturing sites on scheduling projects, ensuring positive impact and sustainable results. Continuously learn new technologies to evolve scheduling solutions, providing intelligent and autonomous manufacturing solutions for Micron's business.

Must Have

  • Host and engage scheduling business processes for positive FAB impact.
  • Develop business cases, validate impact, and prioritize projects.
  • Quantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of solutions.
  • Critically analyze complex data/processes to identify solutions.
  • Develop data analytics applications for informed decision-making.
  • Identify optimization opportunities with global manufacturing sites.
  • Drive global collaboration and benchmarking of scheduling solutions.
  • Strong FAB operation domain knowledge and project driving experience.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, with strong work ethic and independent work ability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
  • Master's/Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or related.
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL, Snowflake, GCP, and JS.
  • Able and willing to travel overseas.

As a SMAI (Smart Manufacturing AI) OI (Operations Intelligence) – Scheduling and Simulation, I4.0 Analyst, at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Micron’s Smart Manufacturing Team comprised of world class talent to innovate End-To-End Digital Twin solutions through scheduling systems, simulation solutions and data analytics insights to guide and make Fab critical decisions.

You will be partnering with different departments and the global network of manufacturing sites to work in scheduling projects to enable breakthrough solutions in the business. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure positive impact and sustainable results and you will also be constantly learning new technology and methodology to evolve scheduling solutions in Micron

Responsibilities

  • Host and engage scheduling business process to ensure scheduling solution has positive impact in Micron FABs
  • Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation.
  • Quantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of solutions to the business.
  • Ability to think critically and break down complex data/processes to identify key levers and applicable solutions.
  • Develop high quality data analytics and applications that provides insights and drive actions to enable management and manufacturing teams to make informed decisions.
  • Work with management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and deliver solutions to continuously improve production metrics.
  • Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong FAB operation domain knowledge and with experience in project driving.
  • Possess a drive to make a difference and a passion for exploring new frontiers.
  • Be highly motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and collaborate effectively with people from different culture backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with logical approach.
  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, other technical disciplines, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Programming language capability on C#, Python, SQL; experience with Snowflake, GCP and JS
  • Knowledge and experience in simulation, factory scheduling, optimization, machine learning, reinforcement learning preferred.
  • Able and willing to travel overseas
