PulsePoint, now part of Internet Brands/WebMD, is a technology company optimizing campaign performance and health decision-making through real-world data. They are seeking a Sr. Sales Director for their programmatic health sales team, focusing on data-driven campaigns for health advertisers and agencies. The role requires a deep understanding of ad agencies and experience with health brands, driving new business, and introducing new products. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in programmatic technology sales and existing relationships within the health vertical.
Must have:
  • Experience with health brands a MUST
  • Successful track record in consultative selling of programmatic technology to ad agencies
  • Previous success at opening and growing new accounts
  • Existing relationships with brands and/or agencies within the health vertical (pharma/DTC/HCP, etc.)
  • Platform sales experience
  • Programmatic/media sales experience
  • Track record of success in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other sellers across agencies/pharma brands

  • Hunter mentality as this position will be focused on driving new business at accounts not currently working with PulsePoint
  • Drive sales, negotiate, and close business
  • A creative thinker who makes long-term contributions both to the organization as a whole, as well as the sales team’s development

The Product You'll Be Working On:

Our proprietary data targeting solutions are the backbone for thousands of healthcare brands seeking instant access to forecast, target and engage DTC and HCP audiences at scale.

Requirements:

As part of the programmatic health sales team, you’ll be selling data-driven campaigns (both managed and self-service/platform) into health advertisers and agencies. The ideal candidate for this role has a deep understanding of and experience selling directly to ad agencies throughout the US. Experience with health brands a MUST.

Location:

  • You must be located on the East Coast of the U.S.
  • You can work remotely
  • Travel frequency: approximately 1-2 times per week

Target Range:

  • $125-150k base + commission plan

  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 minutes)
  • Team Interview
  • Presentation
