Job Description

The Supplier Change Coordinator will own the change process from request through implementation, tracking action items to closure. This role involves understanding technical issues, documenting recommendations, and leading low-to-medium complexity changes. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams, analyzing impact assessments, supporting component qualification, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The coordinator will also manage Change Requests, secure approvals, and update documentation.
Must Have:
  • Own the change from request through implementation and track action items to closure.
  • Understand technical issues behind changes to assess problems and document recommendations.
  • Lead low-to-medium complexity changes (e.g., resistor/capacitor EOL, minor component updates).
  • Coordinate between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze impact assessments (cost, quality, lead time, validation needs).
  • Support alternate component qualification (working with technical assessment partners, compliance checks).
  • Track validation progress through Supplier Change Coordinator.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (AEC-Q, ISO/TS 16949).
  • Complete the Change Request (CR) with support from affected Stakeholders.
  • Record costs, impact, and document all affected items and product/process documents.
  • Present the change and clarify questions during Technical / Organizational Review.
  • Track required change approvals and confirm all activities for a CN are completed.
  • Update and modify the Change Request per agreement with corresponding Stakeholder.
  • Create new part & document numbers and run a where used report.
  • Route the CR to technical/organizational/PCE assessors and reviewers.
  • Send CR to Change Leader for final approval.
  • Approve the implementation plan for CN.
  • Experience in Change Management or as Change Leader (2-4 years with B.Tech / 1-2 years M.Tech or 8-10 years with B.Tech / 6-8 years M.Tech).
  • Experience in document management related position.
  • Completion of the internal CMII certification course.
  • Good knowledge of CMII process and the GES system.
  • Master’s degree in engineering.
  • General knowledge of technical documentation (mechanical and electrical).
  • Knowledge of engineering procedures and database structure.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Good oral and written English skills.

Your Role

  • Track validation progress through Supplier change Coordinator.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (AEC-Q, ISO/TS 16949).

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • Experience in Change Management or as Change Leader for about

2-4 Years with B.Tech / 1-2 years M.Tech

8-10 Years with B.Tech / 6-8 years M.Tech

  • Experience in document management related position
  • Completion of the internal CMII certification course
  • Good knowledge of CMII process and the GES system
  • Master’s degree in engineering
  • General knowledge of technical documentation (mechanical and electrical)
  • Knowledge of engineering procedures
  • Knowledge of database structure
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Good oral and written English skills
