The Supply Strategic Planner for eBay Japan will join the Sales team, contributing to the growth of Qoo10.jp by analyzing sales/customer data for key categories, identifying new business opportunities, and developing scalable solutions and strategies for continuous sales growth. This role involves collaborating with relevant teams like Category Managers and Marketing to analyze and report performance indicators, and proposing improvements for promotional issues.

Must Have

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/strategic planning experience.
  • Proven experience in proactively defining problems, deriving meaningful insights, and contributing to sales growth during sales strategy planning and execution.
  • Experience in qualitative/quantitative data analysis using tools like MSSQL and Google Analytics.
  • Extensive experience in actively operating and executing new initiatives to drive business growth.

Good to Have

  • Work experience in sales/strategic planning or as a data analyst in the commerce industry.
  • Business-level Japanese or English proficiency.
  • End-to-end work experience as an outsourced vendor manager (e.g., QA).

🔽 What a Supply Strategic Planner does

As part of the Sales team, you will analyze sales/customer data for key categories contributing to the growth of Qoo10.jp, discover new business opportunities, and derive initiatives for continuous sales growth to establish scalable solutions or strategies.

Based on business needs, you will analyze and report performance indicators with relevant teams (Category Manager (CM), Marketing, etc.), and propose improvements for issues that may arise during company-wide promotions, performing duties as a strategic partner.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/strategic planning experience.
  • Rich experience in proactively defining problems, deriving meaningful insights, and contributing to sales growth during sales strategy planning and execution.
  • Experience in qualitative/quantitative data analysis and utilization based on data analysis tools (MSSQL, Google Analytics).
  • Extensive experience in actively operating and executing new initiatives to contribute to business growth.

It would be even better if you have these points

  • Work experience in sales/strategic planning or as a data analyst in the commerce industry.
  • Business-level Japanese or English proficiency.
  • End-to-end work experience as an outsourced vendor manager (e.g., QA).
