Job Summary

The Hôtel de la Cigogne 5*, a Relais & Châteaux establishment, is seeking a full-time Chef de partie. The role involves working across all kitchen stations (hot, cold), managing raw material preparation, elaborating garnishes and sauces, ensuring plate presentation and conformity, and controlling kitchen cleanliness and equipment. Candidates must have a cook's CFC or equivalent, 5 years of similar experience, be fluent in French, flexible with schedules, and possess strong team spirit and a sense of service.

Must Have

  • Work on all kitchen stations (hot, cold).
  • Manage the preparation of raw materials.
  • Elaborate the preparation of garnishes and sauces.
  • Ensure plate presentation and their conformity.
  • Control the cleanliness of the kitchen and the condition of the equipment and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with current HACCP hygiene and safety rules.
  • Cook's CFC or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Be flexible and available for work hours and days.
  • Have a very good team spirit.
  • Sense of service and hospitality.

The Hôtel de la Cigogne 5\*, a Relais & Châteaux establishment, has 50 rooms, junior suites, and suites, each decorated in a different style. This charming house features a gastronomic restaurant and a magnificent lounge for meetings, cocktails, lunches, and dinners, accommodating up to 40 people.

Job Description

  • Know how to work on all stations (hot, cold, etc.);

Additional Information

Job Supplement

  • Work weekends and public holidays;
  • Day, evening, and night shifts;
  • Minimum 1 weekend per month;
  • Annual salary over 13 months between 54,600 and 58,500 CHF depending on experience and qualifications;
  • Night bonus;
  • 13th salary paid in June and December.
