Valet/Baggage Handler [Season 2026]

The Barrière La Baule Resort, a luxury destination with three 5-star hotels, 7 restaurants, 3 bars, a Spa & Thalasso, and more, is seeking a Valet/Baggage Handler for the Summer Season 2026. This role involves welcoming guests, handling their luggage, parking and cleaning vehicles, managing shuttles, and assisting with concierge tasks. The ideal candidate is an expert in guest reception, attentive to needs, and maintains excellent client relations with discretion. They must be an ace behind the wheel, fluent in English, and hold a Category B driving license for over 2 years.

Must Have

• Welcome clients upon arrival at the hotel's main entrance
• Maintain excellent client relations with confidentiality and discretion
• Be attentive to clients' needs and expectations
• Transport luggage to rooms
• Park, make available, and clean client vehicles
• Ensure shuttle follow-up
• Participate in various concierge-related tasks (errands, mail, etc.)
• Be an ace behind the wheel
• Be able to juggle keys and manage arrivals/departures with ease
• Ensure baggage handling
• Speak fluent English and other languages
• Be conscientious, helpful, and friendly
• Hold a Category B driving license for over 2 years

Job Description

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS WILL BE...

You will be the guardian of the keys, capable of making cars appear with a snap of your fingers. You will make remarkable entrances, you are experts in four-wheeled hospitality, where luggage flies and smiles multiply. Your missions will also include:

• Welcoming guests upon their arrival at the hotel's main entrance.
• Maintaining excellent client relations, with confidentiality and discretion.
• Being attentive to clients' needs and expectations.
• Transporting luggage to rooms.
• Parking, making available, and cleaning client vehicles.
• Ensuring shuttle follow-up.
• Participating in various concierge-related tasks (errands, mail, etc.).

Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

You are an ace behind the wheel. You are capable of juggling keys, managing warm arrivals and joyful departures with disconcerting ease. You ensure baggage handling.

You speak fluent English and even other languages.

You are conscientious, helpful, and friendly.

Experience in a similar role in a high-end establishment is a real bonus!

We almost forgot the most important thing, do you have a license? Category B driving license for over 2 years required!
