Job Summary

The Cannes site designs satellite systems and platforms, performs satellite assembly/integration/testing, and conducts in-orbit operations. The Surface Treatment / Paint Operator ensures surface treatment and painting operations for various mechanical parts across all production units (UAP1, UAP2, UAP3) and Satellite AITs. This role also involves adjusting and adding to ensure compliance of equipment. The operator is responsible for masking parts, setting up parts before surface treatment, cleaning parts, performing automatic or manual surface treatment and painting operations, adding products to balance baths, and maintaining workshop equipment and tools. Candidates should have a professional baccalaureate and similar experience in complex industrial environments like aeronautics, automotive, or space.

The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/testing of satellites, as well as in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.

YOUR DAILY LIFE:

The surface treatment / paint operator performs surface treatment and painting operations for various mechanical parts for all Production Units (UAP1, UAP2, and UAP3) and Satellite AITs.

They are also responsible for ensuring adjustments and additions for the conformity of the means.

They are responsible for:

  • Masking parts,
  • Setting up parts before surface treatment,
  • Cleaning parts before operation
  • Surface treatment operation (automatic or manual)
  • Painting operation
  • Adding products to balance baths (every 15 days)
  • Maintenance of workshop equipment and tools

YOUR PROFILE:

Do you hold a professional baccalaureate and have similar experience in a complex industrial environment (aeronautics, automotive, space)?

As a surface treatment / paint operator, you must:

  • Know the processes used (in particular, read and sign updates to our process instructions).
  • Respect the organizational standards of the different work areas.
  • Respect the procedures imposed by IFCA: no improvisation during the execution of our activities (No human error due to unfollowed procedure or overconfidence)
  • Know your strengths and areas for improvement, and question yourself with an open mind
  • Train regularly to develop skills, become more autonomous and more versatile.
  • Be proactive, autonomous, and a source of proposals for preparation and operations.
  • Do everything possible not to produce errors: obtain clear and complete inputs, work with qualified processes and validated methods, work calmly in good conditions.
