This Systems Software Engineering Intern role at Intel involves developing and maintaining GPU compilers, optimizing code, and contributing to product quality and performance. Must Have

  • Python and/or C++ proficiency

Job Description:

We are looking for Systems Software Engineering Intern to join our team and work with the newest technologies associated with client graphics. You will work with development and validation engineers to develop and maintain GPU compiler.

  • Participate in regular code development, optimization of existing code and contribute to increasing quality of code and/or performance of the product before it ships to customers
  • Create code builds, create and execute tests for these builds and support engineers who are using the builds, mainly other development and validation engineers
  • Actively participate in other stages of software development life-cycle e.g. research, validation, pre and post-release support activities, etc.

The Software and AI (SAI) Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
