As a Team Lead - Concept Art at Ubisoft Montreal, you will lead and mentor a team of Concept Artists for the Rainbow Six Siege project. You will work closely with production and other disciplines to ensure concepts support the project's vision and needs.
Must Have
- Lead and inspire a team of Concept Artists, encouraging creativity and collaboration
- Plan, prioritize, distribute, and monitor team tasks based on objectives and deliverables
- Cooperate with production to ensure the quality and consistency of artistic concepts
- Provide constructive feedback to support artistic and technical development
- Integrate best practices by staying attentive to industry trends and developments
- Understand the game's story, gameplay, and constraints to guide creation
- Identify and help resolve team problems and conflicts
- Participate in performance reviews in collaboration with production management
- Facilitate the integration of new team members
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept art and mastery of different styles and genres
- Team leadership and management skills in a creative context
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various disciplines
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Good understanding of the video game production process
