Job Summary

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives for Ema's agentic AI platform, partnering with Engineering, Product, and AI Application teams. This role ensures timely, high-quality execution of programs, enabling scalable, reliable, and impactful AI solutions for enterprise customers. It requires a strong technical background, program management discipline, and the ability to operate strategically and executionally.
Must Have
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programs
- Translate product strategy into actionable execution plans
- Build and manage cross-functional execution plans
- Anticipate and mitigate program risks
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, scalability, and enterprise readiness criteria
- Act as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market functions
- Drive clarity and alignment across teams by facilitating structured communication
- Define and improve processes for program execution, issue tracking, and dependency management
- Foster accountability and transparency through structured program dashboards
- Partner with engineering teams to understand system architecture, technical constraints, and integration challenges
- Break down complex AI platform initiatives into manageable workstreams
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability across Ema’s agentic AI platform
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
- Provide executive-level updates on program status, risks, and mitigations
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage expectations across diverse stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence by defining and refining program management frameworks
- Lead retrospectives and post-mortems to capture learnings and improve delivery velocity
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or equivalent roles within Enterprise SaaS, AI, or automation platforms
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise system integrations
- Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams on AI or data-driven systems
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Ema, you will orchestrate the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that power our agentic AI platform. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product, and AI Application teams to ensure timely, high-quality execution of programs that enable scalable, reliable, and impactful AI solutions for our enterprise customers.
This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional program management discipline, and the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels. You’ll connect dots across teams, manage dependencies, and drive clarity amid ambiguity—ultimately ensuring that Ema’s AI workflows and platform capabilities evolve efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programs, from requirements definition and scoping to launch and post-deployment optimization.
- Translate product strategy into actionable execution plans with clear milestones, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Build and manage cross-functional execution plans involving Engineering, Product, AI Application Engineering, and Data Science.
- Anticipate and mitigate program risks, proactively identifying blockers and aligning teams toward solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, scalability, and enterprise readiness criteria.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market functions.
- Drive clarity and alignment across teams by facilitating structured communication, sprint planning, and program status reporting.
- Define and improve processes for program execution, issue tracking, and dependency management.
- Foster accountability and transparency through structured program dashboards, KPIs, and progress reviews.
3. Technical Depth & Problem Solving
- Partner with engineering teams to understand system architecture, technical constraints, and integration challenges.
- Break down complex AI platform initiatives into manageable workstreams and clear technical deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability across Ema’s agentic AI platform.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
4. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Provide executive-level updates on program status, risks, and mitigations.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage expectations across diverse stakeholders—balancing delivery urgency with long-term technical vision.
5. Continuous Improvement & Scaling
- Drive operational excellence by defining and refining program management frameworks.
- Lead retrospectives and post-mortems to capture learnings and improve delivery velocity.
- Mentor junior PMs or cross-functional leads in structured program delivery methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or equivalent roles within Enterprise SaaS, AI, or automation platforms.
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams on AI or data-driven systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
