Job Summary

Leads the technical execution of teams developing compileable and custom memory (SRAM, ROM, etc.) intellectual property (IP) for semiconductor designs. This role involves strategic leadership, team management, overseeing end-to-end memory compiler solutions, defining design methodologies, collaborating with partners, driving automation, and ensuring design quality and compliance.

Must Have

What You Can Expect

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Participate in building a vision for the memory compiler team and driving strategic decisions to meet business objectives.
  • Team Management: Leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams (circuit design, layout, verification, software) and managing resources across multiple parallel projects.
  • Architecture & Development: Overseeing the end-to-end development of memory compiler solutions, including architecture definition, design, characterization, and verification.
  • Process & Methodology: Defining and optimizing design methodologies for power, performance, and area (PPA) targets, and driving continuous improvement ini
  • Collaboration: Working closely with foundry partners, internal IP teams, and cross-functional groups (logic, architecture, test engineers) to capture specifications and ensure successful integration into System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
  • Automation: Driving the development of software toolchains and automation solutions for rapid and dynamic memory generation needs.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensuring design quality, managing physical verification sign-off (DRC, LVS, EM/IR), and mitigating project risks.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: A Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience in custom memory circuit design and compiler development with a proven track record of successful tape-outs in advanced technology nodes.
