This internship at Giga Berlin offers a unique opportunity to combine mechanical engineering and IT skills. The role involves analyzing global torque tooling data, collaborating with engineers and network teams, testing new torque tools (wireless, virtualization, positioning systems), and contributing to projects improving production efficiency. Hands-on experience with torque tooling operations is a key part of the role, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication. The intern will work to optimize torque tooling processes within a cutting-edge production environment.
Must have:
  • Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Data analysis skills
  • Mechanical systems knowledge

  • Hands-on testing enthusiasm
Good to have:
  • Prior experience with torque tools

Join our IT-Infrastructure Engineering team as a Torque Tool and Production Technology Intern at Giga Berlin! This is a unique opportunity to bridge mechanical engineering and IT knowledge, contributing to global manufacturing improvements. You will analyze and optimize tosrque tooling processes while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies in a production environment. 

What You’ll Do


  • Analyze global torque tooling data to assess equipment stability across various production lines. 

  • Collaborate with local torque tool engineers and the Network teams to share insights and propose solutions. 
  • Assist in testing and validating new torque tools and technologies, including wireless, virtualization, and positioning systems. 
  • Contribute to high-impact projects that advance production capabilities and efficiency. 
  • Work closely with the local torque tool team to gain hands-on experience with torque tooling operations. 
What You’ll Bring


  • Currently enrolled in Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, IT with mechanical knowledge, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.  
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems; prior experience with torque tools is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively communicate findings. 
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on testing and working with cutting-edge production technologies.
