Job Description
The waiter/barista in a hotel is much more than someone who serves tables or prepares drinks: they are the heart of customer welcome and experience. With professionalism and attention to detail, they take care of service organization, space maintenance, and the quality of the offering. From the first coffee in the morning to the evening cocktail, they guarantee impeccable service, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere. Qualifications
Professional technique and customer relations:
- Ensures quality performance in both service and customer reception
- Collaborates in setting up the point of sale as well as the arrangement and cleaning of premises and materials
- Takes care of table preparation
- Collaborates in the installation of service material
- Welcomes the customer and guides and advises their choices
- Ensures tables are cleared and place settings are tidied
- Monitors the duration of available material in points of sale
- Aims to develop a consistently excellent quality service, to satisfy customers in a spirit of constant vigilance
- Knows the catering offer of their point of sale and other hotel services
- Applies the procedures and policies established by the brand and the hotel
- Embodies the Heartist spirit in interactions with customers
Commercial / Sales:
- Knows the services offered by the hotel, informs customers upon request and encourages them to use them
Cross-functional involvement:
- Works in close collaboration with hotel services
Hygiene/Safety of people/Environment:
- Monitors the cleanliness of the workplace and the correct functioning of the equipment received
- Knows and applies the behaviors to follow during an evacuation in case of fire
- Knows and applies the sustainable development plan policy
