- Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet- based platforms
- Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution
- Provide direction to team activities and facilitate information validation and team decision making process. Exercise expertise and judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.

This position will drive and work closely with other software application engineers, architects, technology leads and directly engage with internal and external software development teams to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:

Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience building Windows Desktop applications. Preferably UWP or WinAppSDK
- Professional experience using C# and/or C++
- Experience with React and Typescript is a plus
- Ability to develop and share best practices that emphasize performance and reusability
- Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels
- Experience publishing applications to the Microsoft Store is a plus
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.
