Job Summary

The HR Technology & Platforms team at BlackRock is seeking a Workday Recruiting Functional Professional & HR Systems Support Associate. This role provides senior technical support for Workday and other HR systems, managing inquiries and ensuring SLA compliance. The associate will also serve as a Functional System Architect for Workday’s Recruiting Module, configuring templates, processes, and integrations to enable smooth Talent Acquisition operations. The position requires collaboration across HR, Talent Acquisition, and Enterprise Technology in a fast-paced, global environment, emphasizing strong problem-solving and a governance mindset.

Must Have

  • Provide Level 2 technical support through ServiceNow
  • Triage complex issues and system enhancement requests
  • Act as Functional Architect for Talent Acquisition
  • Support Workday Recruiting configuration (end-to-end Job Application flow, TA/overlap HCM processes, Workday Docs templates, integrations)
  • Maintain governance standards for inquiry handling and accurate categorization
  • Participate in development and testing cycles for Workday Recruiting enhancements and HR platform upgrades
  • Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, and knowledge articles for HR and TA processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service optimization

Good to Have

  • Strong understanding of HR services and processes
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting configuration and TA workflows in a global company (or ATS/HRIS configuration with a willingness to learn Workday)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (or equivalent ticketing) and HR technology troubleshooting
  • Analytical mindset with attention to data integrity and governance
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with global stakeholders
  • Professional fluency in Hungarian

About this role

Team Overview

The HR Technology & Platforms team provides platform solutions to the global HR community for employee lifecycle activities. We partner with HR Platforms Functional Leads and HR Operations to deliver outstanding platform support and strong governance across HR technology processes. We also drive enablement through documentation, training, and knowledge management.

About the Role

  • Inquiry Management (Tier 2 / Level 2): Senior technical support for Workday and other HR systems via ServiceNow - triaging, resolving, and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Workday Talent Acquisition Configuration: Serve as Functional System Architect for Workday’s Recruiting Module (templates, processes, and integrations) enabling smooth TA operations.

You will collaborate across HR, Talent Acquisition, and Enterprise Technology in a fast‑paced, global environment, applying strong problem‑solving and a governance mindset. Role is primarily aligned to EMEA business hours with occasional cross‑region collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 technical support through ServiceNow; triage complex issues and system enhancement requests to Level 3 Functional Architects and partner on root‑cause analysis.
  • Act as Functional Architect for Talent Acquisition, supporting Workday Recruiting configuration (end‑to‑end Job Application flow, TA/overlap HCM processes, Workday Docs templates, integrations).
  • Maintain governance standards for inquiry handling and accurate categorization for reporting/audit.
  • Participate in development and testing cycles for Workday Recruiting enhancements and HR platform upgrades following Agile methodology.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, and knowledge articles for HR and TA processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service optimization.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of HR services and processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday Recruiting configuration and TA workflows in a global company (or ATS/HRIS configuration with a willingness to learn Workday).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (or equivalent ticketing) and HR technology troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to data integrity and governance.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with global stakeholders.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English; Hungarian is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years in HR Operations or HR Technology support, ideally with Workday Recruiting exposure.
  • Experience supporting HR systems and managing inquiries via ServiceNow (or equivalent).
