Working Student Internal Product Marketing (Insight & Reporting Tools)
20 hours per week, hybrid work model, preference for one year or more, student status required
About the team and the role
We are looking for a motivated and curious working student or intern to support the internal product marketing of eBay’s Insight & Reporting Tools. This role focuses on enabling our Global Seller Development team—including Account Managers and Category Managers—to get the most value out of our internal CRM systems, dashboards, and reporting tools. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, helping bridge communication, training, and feedback loops.
What you will accomplish
- Drive internal product marketing and adoption for Insight & Reporting Tools (Dashboards, CRM, etc.) across the Global Seller Development team — including go-to-market, enablement, and account management.
- Create and maintain user-facing content such as emails, Slack updates, short videos, FAQs, how-to guides, and metric definitions to communicate product updates and best practices.
- Deliver training and workshops for account managers and other internal users to strengthen adoption and effective tool usage.
- Coordinate beta programs and power user groups while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure smooth rollouts and continuous improvement.
- Conduct research and feedback collection (qualitative and quantitative), analyze results, and summarize insights for product and go-to-market teams.
- Provide user support and manage feature feedback, including troubleshooting issues, triaging bugs, quality assurance, and prioritizing feature requests with product teams.
What you will bring
- Motivation and curiosity to learn, explore new ideas, and continuously improve.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to express ideas clearly and confidently across audiences and formats.
- Collaborative mindset with comfort working in an international, cross-functional environment.
- Language skills, fluent in English; additional languages, especially German, are a plus.
- Analytical thinking and interest in data-driven work, interpreting numbers, metrics, and insights with ease.
- Tech-savvy attitude, open to experimenting with new tools and technologies, including AI, to work smarter and more efficiently.
