Job Summary
The Collections Late Stage Lead APAC at eBay manages external recovery operations and optimizes performance of Outside Collection Agency (OCA) partners across APAC, with support for EMEA. Must Have
- Proven experience in vendor management, operations, or financial recovery—ideally within a complex or regulated industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (Tableau preferred) to interpret performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in English required.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence both internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and adaptability when working with international stakeholders across APAC and EMEA.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model from our Dublin office, with flexibility for early start times to align with APAC time zones.

About the team and the role:
The Collections Late Stage team is responsible for managing eBay’s external recovery operations and ensuring strong performance from our Outside Collection Agency (OCA) partners. Based in Dublin, this role is central to driving operational excellence, compliance, and vendor performance across APAC, with support for EMEA. As the Collections Late Stage APAC Lead, you’ll take full ownership of a global vendor portfolio, using data-driven insights to optimize recovery outcomes and strengthen partnerships across time zones. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, contributing to a culture that values precision, accountability, and work-life balance in a hybrid work model.
What you will accomplish:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of OCA vendors across APAC, driving contractual compliance, operational excellence, and measurable performance outcomes.
- Optimize recovery strategies through data analysis and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau preferred), using metrics to track and improve vendor performance.
- Foster strong vendor relationships by maintaining clear, consistent, and culturally aware communication across multiple time zones.
- Ensure all operations align with eBay’s compliance, privacy, and audit standards in a regulated financial environment.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across regions to refine workflows, standard operating procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Use asynchronous collaboration tools to coordinate global projects effectively, ensuring progress continues across time zones.
- Develop expertise in global vendor management and financial recovery operations while contributing to continuous process improvement.
What you will bring:
