Job Description

The Account Manager will develop deep customer knowledge and relationships to drive client retention and new sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include maintaining and increasing revenue from existing accounts, developing and implementing go-to-market plans, efficient engagement with solution selling, and pipeline management. The role involves account planning, defining growth and retention strategies, and ensuring effective price realization. The Account Manager will also focus on customer satisfaction and health scores. They will need strong understanding of financial services industry and expert-level product & workflow expertise.

Develops deep customer knowledge and relationships to drive client retention and new sales opportunities across a set of accounts with medium-high strategic complexity/priority.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- Is a key relationship owner for a set of medium-high complexity/priority customer accounts, maintains and or increases revenue from existing accounts and develops and implements go-to-market plans for assigned accounts.
- Deep knowledge of key industry trends and can share LSEG vision and how we can help client’s agenda.
- Efficiently engages and completes solution selling strategy to uncover opportunities and collaborate with product sales.
- Responsible for the account planning and able to define key growth and retention strategies.
- Owns pipeline hygiene, accurate sales and cancel forecasting for their set of accounts, pipeline coverage tracking and path to goal analysis.
- Leads annual price increase process and ensures effective price realization across all products and services.
- Has the customer lifecycle framework and ensures strong renewal execution, minimizing cancellations.
- Consistently develops authoritative insights and recommendations on how to improve deal size, deal term, close rate, customer acceptability, and address objections with a focus on improving opportunity value of the sale.
- Has the commercial strategy and execution and establishes reputation for effective partnership, peers want to be on the “A-team” where success is mutually supported.
- Maintains high customer happiness and health scores.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Expert-level product & workflow expertise and advanced industry knowledge

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
