We need a Corporate Commercial Counsel to negotiate a variety of commercial agreements for both domestic and international deals, and support strategic commercial initiatives at Pattern during a time of significant growth. We are looking for someone with extremely high standards who is efficient and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to help Pattern and our partners be successful. What is a day in the life of a Corporate Commercial Counsel?
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for complex commercial transactions, including brand partner contracts, SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Find creative solutions in negotiations to address impasse and close deals.
- Join sales and negotiation calls to answer questions about our commercial standards, our business model, and our operational norms and policies.
- Advise internal business clients on company policies, negotiation strategy, and legal issues and risks.
- Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues from other teams including finance, operations, IT, and brand management.
- Assist in creating and improving our standard form agreements, draft new templates for evolving needs, and revise and streamline legal processes as needed as we continue to grow and evolve.

- JD from a top university
- Admitted to practice in Utah or ability to waive in or join bar as House Counsel
- 2+ years of demonstrated success in a commercial legal role in either a law firm or in-house environment.
- Dedication to ethical and honest practice of law.
- Demonstrated ability to pick things up quickly and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and without ego.
- Sound judgment and the ability to balance speed and depth.
- Commitment to internal and external client service, even in tough negotiations.
