Since 2020, the Thales Group DSI has launched a vast transformation of its organization and services on a large scale: NextGen IS IT.

The Group DSI and the Operations Directorate have established the Cloud Center of Excellence as the first step of this global transformation, serving as a catalyst for the Group's internal digital and cloud transformation to meet the needs of internal functions with an end-to-end delivery approach (technical and services).

You will be responsible for:

• Defining and implementing a secure and controlled data sharing strategy between the different entities and systems of the group, respecting access rights and compliance requirements.
• Promoting the reuse of existing data to limit redundancy, while ensuring its quality, traceability, and accessibility according to the business context.
• Leading the design and harmonization of data models for the migration to SAP S/4HANA, in collaboration with business, IT, and architecture teams, and ensuring the consistency of Master Data and transactional data.
• Collaborating with Data Governance teams to establish quality and modeling standards, and working with data architects to integrate models into different technical environments (data lakes, S/4HANA, etc.).
• Contributing to the implementation of data contracts, APIs, and standardized interfaces to facilitate system interoperability.
• Participating in the development of the Data as a Service experience for business users and the industrialization of data assets to promote their consumption across the group.

Your profile

Coming from an engineering background, you have solid experience in private Cloud infrastructure transformation and change management in an agile environment. You know how to propose innovative solutions, work in multidisciplinary teams, and promote automation while integrating security from design:

• Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) in an ERP context (SAP ideally)
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and its data models (CDS Views, tables, objects)
• Data Governance, Data Cataloging, and Security by Design
• Use of data modeling tools (SAP PowerDesigner, ER/Studio…)
• Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Hub, Data Fabric architectures (an asset)

Soft skills:

• Cross-functional leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and oral communication in French and English
• Strategic sense, results orientation, and documentary rigor
