Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake® and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is looking for a Development Coordinator for a key role in Remedy Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO).

We are looking for a fixed-term PMO Development Coordinator to join our PMO team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering supporting activities within the Remedy PMO that impact all current game projects.

The position is based in our studio in Espoo, Finland, and is a full-time, fixed-term contract for a minimum of 12 months. It’s a great opportunity if you are looking to develop your project management skills in a unique industry.

What you get to do

    • In this role, you will communicate and collaborate with our game projects and various stakeholders, ensuring that information flows.
    • Along with the PMO team, you will work in close collaboration with Remedy’s Talent Director, facilitating our studio talent allocation process demand planning. This is to help the projects find the right talent at the right time, mitigate potential conflicts, and ensure that all our studio talent is allocated to meaningful work.
    • You will gather and summarize material from our game projects for project portfolio reporting purposes.
    • Planning, scheduling, and facilitating PMO and game project meetings and workshops.
    • Gathering agenda, collecting notes, and presenting and following up on agreed action points.
    • Once you feel settled in the role, we value proactive suggestions for improvements to existing PMO processes.

What you bring to the role

    • You have previous experience as a Development Coordinator or from a similar role, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
    • You have an approachable demeanor with great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in the complex environment of a gaming company.
    • You have strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), and an ability to present information accurately and concisely due to the daily collaboration with various stakeholders in the studio.
    • You are used to working with MS Excel.
    • You thrive working in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. You are used to collaborating with colleagues across different departments and you are able to communicate and present your ideas in a clear and coherent way. As a team member, you are dedicated to contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
    • You can also work independently, being organized and able to document your work, as this role requires a hands-on, proactive way of working.
