As a Mid to Senior Community Manager, you will shape and execute community and social media strategies for one of our titles, under the guidance of the Head of Community. You'll manage player experience on core community platforms like Discord by facilitating feedback loops, supporting players, reporting bugs, gathering insights, and helping translate community sentiment into actionable improvements for the Game Team. You will also act as the voice of the Game Team within the community and share updates to keep players informed. This role includes supporting the Head of Community in strategic initiatives and contributing to team leadership.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of community management experience in gaming.
  • Deep passion for video games and industry knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of community platforms, especially Discord.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable with reporting and analytics tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Good to have:
  • Experience managing community feedback loops during testing phases.
  • Fluency in additional languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese).

Your Mission As a Mid to Senior Community Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the community and social media strategies for one of our titles, working under the guidance of the Head of Community. You will manage the player experience on core community platforms such as Discord by facilitating feedback loops, supporting players, reporting bugs, gathering insights, and helping translate community sentiment into actionable improvements for the Game Team. In addition, you’ll act as the voice of the Game Team within the community, sharing updates like patch notes and news to keep players informed, excited, and engaged. As an experienced community manager, you’ll also support the Head of Community in strategic initiatives and contribute to team leadership by mentoring or assisting other Community Managers when needed. Your Responsibilities Help realize the community plans in concert with the development team to span alpha, beta, and launch phases for the English speaking markets Work with the Head of Community on important communications to and funneling feedback from our growing community Working with Studio, Project, and Publisher Leadership to integrate community plans into broader marketing strategies Maintaining an effective feedback loop that combines quantitative and qualitative reports Working in tight coordination with the game development team to stay current on changes Monitoring and assessing community sentiment for FunPlus games, and pulling together reports from forums and social media channels (English speaking markets) Planning, drafting, and distributing community focused content through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other channels. Help coordinate the Brand Ambassador program. Creating and fostering a positive community experience for the English speaking players. Your Profile 3+ years of experience managing communities in live-ops environments within the gaming sector. A deep passion for video games and strong knowledge of the gaming industry across PC, console, and mobile platforms. Extensive knowledge of community platforms (particularly Discord) and a strong knowledge of social media channels. Solid understanding of social media trends. Curious and proactive mindset, with a strong desire to keep learning and experimenting with new approaches. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Confident in addressing both internal teams and external community audiences with clarity and professionalism. Comfortable working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel) to understand and communicate data insights. A positive, enthusiastic, creative, and solutions-oriented attitude. Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently. Proven experience managing community feedback loops and communications during alpha and beta testing phases is a strong plus. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in one or more additional languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese) is a plus.
