Job Summary

Job Description

Responsible for the design and production of in-game VFX, including character skill effects, scene effects, and UI effects. This role involves designing and producing in-game and out-of-game VFX for new and revamped heroes, aligning with gameplay and the game's art style. The artist will utilize the Unity3D engine, mastering particle systems, material ASE, VFX Graph, and Shader Graph to independently create high-quality VFX. The role also includes ensuring VFX consistency with art, programming, and planning teams, optimizing resources for performance, and delivering high-quality VFX on time.
Must have:
  • Design and produce in-game VFX (character skills, scenes, UI)
  • Design and produce in-game and out-of-game VFX for new/revamped heroes
  • Proficiency in Unity3D engine (particle systems, material ASE, VFX Graph, Shader Graph)
  • Independently complete high-quality VFX production
  • Ensure VFX consistency with art, programming, and planning teams
  • Optimize VFX resources for performance
  • Deliver high-quality VFX on time
  • 3+ years of experience in Unity3D VFX work
  • Familiarity with hero display and PV performance VFX production
  • Familiarity with in-game combat VFX performance
  • Proficiency in Unity3D VFX module and output process
  • Proficiency in 3Dmax, PS, AE

Job Description

Responsible for the design and production of in-game special effects, including character skill effects, scene effects, and UI effects.

Based on gameplay and the game's art style, responsible for the design and production of in-game and out-of-game special effects related to new heroes and revamped heroes.

Using the Unity3D engine, proficiently master particle systems, material ASE, VFX Graph, and Shader Graph, and independently complete high-quality special effects production.

Design special effects that conform to the style according to game requirements, ensuring coordination and unity with the art, programming, and planning teams.

Participate in the optimization of special effects resources to ensure good performance on various platforms.

Cooperate with project progress, deliver high-quality special effects in a timely manner, and make adjustments and iterations when necessary.

Job Requirements

More than 3 years of experience in Unity3D special effects work.

Familiar with hero display and PV performance special effects production, and in-game combat special effects performance; hand-painting ability is preferred.

Proficient in Unity3D special effects modules, familiar with the Unity3D special effects output process, and proficient in using related auxiliary software such as 3Dmax, PS, AE.

Have a mature understanding of the rhythm, impact, and richness of color in special effects.

Passion for American comic hero themed special effects design is preferred.

Strong sense of responsibility, strong team communication skills, active cooperation, excellent independent work ability, team management ability, and quality guidance ability.

Have a certain understanding and awareness of user experience.
